   Hi! Since one or two days I have this "picture" when I open a thread: Only the fist post I can see - all others are are like a tree - I have to click one after the other, to sea the posts. I have firefox and I have nothing changed! - I hope so :blink:

   I think I may have solved the persistent email notification problem we have been having. If you have received a backlog of emails from the Forum, this is because many were held up in the queue, and I have hopefully set them all free. So, we are sorry for what may have been many emails all at once, but I anticipate that things may now be rectified.

   If you will notice, in the upper right hand corner there is a new button that takes you to PalmTalk's new Community Calendar. Will some of you give it a try (if you have an event to add) and let me know how it is working? Hint - You add "New Events" in the lower right hand corner.

    Anyone else not getting email notifications of PMs? I have this option selected on my controls, but suddenly they are not arriving even though I am receiving messages. The email alert is a convenient feature, especially when using my phone.

    Time differences

    I have noticed a time difference between the main forum page and the sub-forums for a while but I don't know how consistent it is. The sub-forums report 1 hour behind the main forum. Main forum 6:32am Sub-forums 5:32am If I click on the link back to the main forum, the time shows at 5:32. If I refresh the main forum, the time restores to 6:32. Clicking on any of the sub-forums after that causes the time to revert one hour. Refresh does not update to the correct time on the sub-forums. I see the same with IE6. Doesn't appear to happen if I am not logged in. Could be my old browsers, but I have never seen this on any other forums/websites.

    Avatar issues

    Seems that I can upload an avatar and see it on my avatar control page, but the old avatar continues to persist in message threads and is not replaced by the new image. It doesn't help if I delete it and upload something from scratch... the old one still pops up again. When I click on 'view image' it seems as if some sort of time stamp is being put on any new image I upload as an avatar which interferes with the ability to see it in message threads. I'll try to provide a more detailed explanation if there's no easy answer. Thanks, Ian

    Need to change my email address/password

    Dear Admin, I want to change my current email address as registered. In order to do that I have to enter my password. I don't have or remember it and my current email program is out of action so I can't look up any emails from Palmtalk. I can't change my password because it would be sent to the old email address which is out of action and hopefully will remain that way. So, here I am working on a laptop which auto recalled the password last time I had difficulties. I am only here for a short time, so could someone please PM me a password urgently so I can get in and change my email address. I have a new PC arrangement and want to have this info for the new PC set up…

    Hi there Dean and fellow palm site gurus. Is it possible to have a little pop up window appear when folk log on to the site. Each individual could manage his/her own settings for that to occur. It would nice to know, Oh look, Frank has just signed in, I think I'll send him that pm now etc. Just a thought.

    White version of PalmTalk?

    Does anyone else ever get an all-white version of PalmTalk at random times? The format is the same, it functions the same, but the screen is mostly white, so it's harder to tell where one post ends and another begins. Then randomly it will go back to the blue format, easier to read. Just curious how this happens and if anyone else has experienced this.

    I just noticed that some users use very large avatars that are just scaled down to apropriate size. For example, Surferjr's avatar has 908 kb, 1024px × 861px. Can something be done regarding that... it just slows the forum...

    I just logged into Palmtalk, and all the threads have the inital post with pictures etc, but everything after that is in a list at the bottom of the page that I have to click on to see. Anyone know what is going on? The posts don't just load up automatically one after the other. Am I doing something wrong???????? Best regards Tyrone
