   I have 5 rather large and heavy palms to give away. Free including nice container, only catch is you must haul away. I live in West Covina. The plants are: 2 bismarckia nobilis in heavy blue ceramic pots. Plant is root bound and should be planted in the ground. 2 brahea armata in tall containers, very healthy, heavy. 1 livistona chinensis in large plastic container, 5 plants in one pot.

    Arenga engleri seeds

    I have a few spare Arenga engleri seeds from freshly harvested fruits. In contrast to the common belief plants from those seeds seem to grow fairly fast (in my not tropical climate in cold frame). I gladly give them for free but I would not reject an exchange (not a prerequisite though)! Below you see pics from plants from those seeds 1 and 1/2 years old.

    Hi. I am helping out the local Punta Gorda elementary school- Sallie Jones- with a landscape project. The school building is basically new but due to budget cuts, there is nothing for landscaping. I am gratefully accepting any donations of cycads, palms or other plants to make the school a beautiful place. I am on the west coast of Florida, 100 miles south of Tampa.     This has been in my raised planter for a year from a 5gal. The under sides of the leaves are silver. The trunk is a little weird and it hasn't rooted solid yet so it wobbles a little but is growing well. I am replacing it with my new Pritchardia. Your free to come over and take it!     Hey folks - You know you need FREE big palms/cycads/tropicals, I have probably 150-200 rapidly growing plants in pots, most of them 3-15+ gallons. There are too many big plants (up to 15 ft tall) to bring inside next winter. Here is the offer: Come and pick up the potted palms etc. Not just one, but as many as you want and can carry. That's it.
