Here is what is left after a flurry of activity last night. These are older seeds - you may still get good results - but I do not want to take the time or space, to plant them, but rather focus on fresh seeds. These are FREE! Just PM me how many you want, of which ones, and we'll figure out the approximate postage. Here is what is left as of Wednesday morning. (Pending a couple new PM's that I have not answered yet - and will, in a minute.) Adenium obesum - 2 seeds Bursera fagaroides - 1 seed Canna flaccida pack Cardocrinum giganteum pack Cycas revoluta - 4 seeds - Just planted them in a baggie a couple days ago. (Will ship that way.) I'm "down-sizing" my plant collection and have a few things I've decided not to plant that I'd like to give to other plant enthusiasts/collectors -- most of these would benefit from being re-potted (or just planted) and/or need some TLC/fertilizer. For pick-up only...(in Sarasota) 6" pot & 1 gal. - Chamaedorea klotzschiana 1 gal. Chamaedorea seifrizii (bamboo palm) 1 gal. Dypsis baronii 1 gal. Dypsis lutescens (areca palm) 1 gal. Dypsis ssp. (trangle palm hybrid?) 1 gal. Gaussia princeps 1 gal. Phoenix sylvestris 3 gal. Walachia disticha 1 gal. "mystery palm"-- probably Sabal sp. (found growing as a recruit in another palm pot) 7 gal. Arenga engleri seeds
by Phoenikakias- 7 replies
- 1.8k views
I have a few spare Arenga engleri seeds from freshly harvested fruits. In contrast to the common belief plants from those seeds seem to grow fairly fast (in my not tropical climate in cold frame). I gladly give them for free but I would not reject an exchange (not a prerequisite though)! Below you see pics from plants from those seeds 1 and 1/2 years old.

Donations for school appreciated
by Vincent- 1 reply
- 1.6k views
Hi. I am helping out the local Punta Gorda elementary school- Sallie Jones- with a landscape project. The school building is basically new but due to budget cuts, there is nothing for landscaping. I am gratefully accepting any donations of cycads, palms or other plants to make the school a beautiful place. I am on the west coast of Florida, 100 miles south of Tampa. I will drive in FL to pick up material and will pay for shipping out of my own pocket. If you have something you would like to donate, please pm. Thanks. Vincent Bodnar

Free seeds

Hi all, I have small quantities of the following seeds that I want to get rid of. I already have growing plants of most of them so they are really just taking up space. I can't vouch for the viability of any of them so I'm happy to give them away for free. I'm in the UK but happy to send overseas where possible but will probably then ask for a small amount via PayPal to cover shipping costs. Alternatively, if you have anything that you think might be of interest to me, please let me know as I'm open to swaps too. I'm in a 9a-equivalent climate. Adenium obesum Brahea aramata Butia odorata Chamaerops cerifera Cyca…

The trunk is a little weird and it hasn't rooted solid yet so it wobbles a little but is growing well. I am replacing it with my new Pritchardia. Your free to come over and take it! I'm digging it out right after this post. PM me is interested.
