Free Meryta balansae seed
by LJG- 5 replies
- 1.7k views
I have sent out some seed to a few fellow collectors recently. One person didn't want them as he has too many plants germinating as is. So I have one more stalk of seed (maybe 1000 seed) I will be happy to send out. This is not an easy plant to germinate as it does best when sown right away when ripe. This seed is 4 months old but with 1000 you should get something.

Free Albizia saman / Samanea saman : Monkey Pod / Rain Tree Seeds
by Loxahatchee Adam- 3 replies
- 4.1k views
I have a bunch of free Albizia saman / Monkeypod seed pods. They are fast-growing, nitrogen-fixing trees that get a wide canopy. They are known as rain trees as the leaves fold together and close every night or when it rains/is dark-ish cloudy. I attached pictures of the parent tree, the pink and white puff flowers, and the seed pods. The last picture is one I have that's about 1.5 years old, around 10 ft tall and starting to branch. They are cold hardy to zone 10a and, while in the same genus, do not have the invasive issues like Mimosa trees up north.

7,000 Sabal minor seeds
by The Silent Seed- 14 replies
Older seeds - Can't remember if they are 1 year old, or 2 years old. Just don't want to deal with them. No idea if they are still good - and won't bother toying with them. Cover the cost of getting them to you - and if you have something to trade, even better. PM me with the number of seeds you want, and whether you want to offer something in trade or not. (NOT NECESSARY.)

I have a double King palm ~ 25' tall that is free for anyone that has the equipment to dig & move. Very healthy and beautiful. Easy access for equipment and trailer. It will probably weigh 5000# - 6000# with root ball. You do not have to back fill the hole. It is in my way and will meet the chain saw soon if there are not any takers.

I estimate a three foot tall thick trunk with another three -four ft tall leaves. PM if interested. Here are a couple of pics (Sorry for the bad shots):

Due to an upcoming relocation and severe reduction of space for plants, I need to give away a large portion of my container garden. This includes stuff from 8cm pots all the way up to 50cm pots and 1-2m tall. Lots of stuff, including an assortment of ptychosperma, caryota, hyophorbe, pritchardia, archontophoenix, wodietia, normanbya, chamaedorea, dypsis, etc. I'll be keeping a few things, but need to keep my wife happy as well I'm in a non-fire ant area so you can relocate the pots without concern for that. The plants are all in Redland Bay, and need to go by the end of the weekend of the 20th of July. You are welcome to give me a call and come by to have a l…
