This is my oldest photo of a Ph canariensis, taken in March 1964 somewhere in Greece (maybe @Phoenikakias knows where it is?):

Pal, in 1964 I was yet unborn! Landscape must have changed quite since then. I have never come across those sculptures for example.

The tallest I have seen in Florida are growing by the Taber Public Library in Macclenny, about 20 miles west of Jacksonville. This building is the old Baker County Courthouse, built in 1908.

I found out that this photo was taken in Olympia.
