The 35th edition of the South Florida Palm Society's Fall Show & Sale will take place November 7 and 8. Although hundreds of species of palms will be offered to the public, this event satisfies a broad spectrum of interests. The Louisiana Palm and Cy cad Society will have the Holiday Celebration on Saturday, December 6. I don't know the time yet, but wanted to get the word out since it is approaching. We will be gathering on the Cajun Chateau, which will be located at the lakefront. There will be food and fun and a plant auction. Here's a picture of the boat. The Palm Society of Southern California San Diego Meeting and Auction Saturday, March 23, 2013 - 11:00 AM TO 3:00 PM Phil Bergman, San Diego Chair Our next Society meeting will be March 23, 2013 in Encinitas, CA. Encinitas is about 25 miles north of San Diego, right off Freeway 5 at Encinitas Blvd. These two gardens are about ten minutes apart. Both are interesting gardens with lots of palm trees. Brisbane Palm and Cycad Society Christmas Gathering at Darren Jones’ Sunday 14/12/2014 11:00am Address is Lot 237 ‘unnamed Rd’, Pine Mountain. If you want to use a GPS to get there, select James Rd, Pine Mountain, which is off the Brisbane Valley Hwy as you head for Fernvale. There will be signage on James Rd to show the way to Darren’s place. Starting time is 11:00 and the BBQ will be fired up at 12:00. Bring a chair, meat for BBQ, and alcohol if you desire.

SUMMER MEETING At our last meeting, it was announced that we would meet at Leu Gardens on or around June 13, 2020. Unfortunately, due to health and safety concerns and Orlando cancelling all indoor meetings through June, we will not be holding an official meeting. A group of members who have reciprocal memberships to Leu Gardens will go that morning to walk the gardens while respecting the social distancing guidelines.
