Next Tuesday night we are having a special dinner to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Palm and Cycad Society of Australia (PACSOA). Should be a great night, the menu looks very interesting at the Summit restaurant on top of Mt Cootha. What's even better about this night is that we will still hold a raffle, you beauty. I hope that everyone is making plans to join us at Ruth Sallenbach's fabulous garden in 2 weeks. The date will be September 17. Here are a few updates. The gate will be open at 8:30. Dale will lead a tour of the garden at 9:30. Lunch will be at 12:00 and the auction will start at 1:00. Bring a potluck dish and any type of plant for the auction. Palm Beach Palm & Cycad Society will be holding it's annual fall sale on October 8 & 9. The sale will be held at the Mounts botanical Garden, located at 559 N. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Fl. 33415. The hours will be Saturday Oct. 8, 9am to 4pm, Sunday Oct. 9, 9am to 3pm. There will be 100's of species of palms & cycads to choose from. The 2021 Spring Meeting is tentatively scheduled for March 6th, 2021 in Oak Hill, FL at a 28 acre palm and citrus nursery. We are inviting all of our vendors for a plant sale. I'm pleased to announce that we will be visiting two gardens in Huntington Beach, Orange County on September 17, 2022. GARDEN NO. 1: The home and garden of Gary Wild at 20551 Montauk Cir. Huntington Beach. He started his garden about 20 years ago.
