I'm always on the lookout for buying (or swapping) for seedlings in larger qty's than, say, 2 or 3. Anything goes - not just Palms. I don't care how common they are. As for seeds - I'd like to improve my own skill with seeds, so I'm game for those as well. I'm not one of those guys with boatloads of dollars, but maybe we can help each other. Thanks!

Searching "real" Sabal Minor
by GBN- 0 replies
Hey all, im searching for a real Sabal Minor. All plants sold as Minor here in Germany sadly seems to be Sabal Palmetto and doesnt get our winters here. Some people here got a real Minor. Those are able to survive 0 to -3F without any damage. So im searching someone who sells a bigger plant of a real Minor like 3 ft and above. As far as i know is a phytosanitary certificate necessary to ship from the Usa to Germany or someone from Europe got a real Sabal Minor for sell. To get sure its a real Minor it should have would be great if there are some dried Inflorescence on the plant. Would be great if someone got such a plant for sell and is able to ship. Best regard…

Howdyall: I just had lunch today with a fellow attorney who was Attorney for Republic of Micronesia for about 6 years. While there (he's in LA now) he came to appreciate a type of papaya apparently found there, which bore large numbers of fruit, and which was apparently introduced by Taiwanese traders. Any throughts on variety? I'm also posting in tropical plants, too.
