   I'm looking for "extra-fresh" seeds of Livistona Saribus "Green Petiole", so I hope someone with a fruiting speciment can help me. I've already tried two times seeds from RPS, but without success, probably they aren't very fresh, because seeds of other Livistona's species from RPS sprouted in only 3-4 weeks. Thanks

    Is there anyone in Hawaii that would mind getting a few box loads of the crushed black cinder/obsidian like found in the Hawaiin mixes like Jeff Marcus uses? The stuff can be shipped via Priority Mail Large Flat Rate Boxes from the USPS - 12” x 12” x 5.5. Willing to pay for time, effort and whatever else. I have spent days driving all over looking for this stuff in SoCal and the best I can find is the crushed pumice or colored volcanic decorative stuff. I need the crushed black cinder/obsidian as it has the minerals needed by many of my pain in the azz NewCal plants I grow in pots.
