Does anyone have any saved pollen or fresh pollen/ inflorescences off of either of these species? I have one individual of each species in my greenhouse flowering/about to flower and my previous attempts at self pollination of each have failed to produce seeds.

Visited Fairchild last week...amazing as usual. This particular trip I really focused on non-palms and took note of these four that I want to try in my garden. I'm interested in buying seeds or live plants. A lead to someone else who may have one of the above is helpful, too. Thanks!

Does anyone have seedlings or seeds available? This Florida native is surprisingly not grown by local nurseries. You'd think there would be a market for them in the native plant trade.

Sadleria cyatheoides/ red new frond
by Darold Petty- 8 replies
I will pay $50 to anyone who can direct me to a mail order source, shipped to SF for this fern. (Fern Factory shows 'out of stock'.) I have an existing plant with about 5 feet of stem, but it is entirely and always just green. I collected it along the Saddle Road above Hilo. Supposedly the red form is found around Waimea. Thanks, https://wildlifeofhawaii.com/flowers/686/sadleria-cyatheoides-amaumau-fern/
