Serenoa Repens seeds
by JohnAndSancho- 0 replies

I'd like to get my hands on a handful (no more than 20) silver saw palmetto seeds, or even the green variety. Which high prominence user will the spam bots pretend to be when they dm me this time? Anyway cheap is good or I can trade Bermudana or a variety of sprouted seeds. I have an abundance of Mexicana and Louisiana and a few Trachy hybrid seeds and sprouts. I just don't need a mountain of them and I don't want to pay $2 a seed and it seems like those are my choices on eBay.

Live plants: Cecropia, Myristica Fragrans, Hippomane mancinella, Alyxia stellata, Keys Thatch Palm, any rare palm native to the Everglades. Fresh seed: Sweitenia Mahogany, seed should be fresh so I am thinking January-March when the pods dehiscense. I have plenty of material to trade, or I can buy. We have a small family owned nursery, but I want the above for our botanical garden project started 6 years ago. Thanks in advance! Wes

Roystonea violacea (Purple Royal Palm) and/or roystonea borinquena (Puerto Rico Royal Palm) wanted

Hey y'all I'm kinda desperately (haha), searching for seeds of either of these species of Royals. It's almost impossible it seems to find anyone selling either, Purple Royal Palm especially. Seeds seedlings anything tbh. I have checked all the usual suspects for seeds RPS in particular, and I've scoured online in just in general for upwards of a week now. It seems they come and go from RPS depending on time of year, but currently nothing to be found anywhere it seems. If anyone has either species, or knows where to find either I'd be very grateful. Thank you so much in advance. I'm a new user I've been reading various threads on here for quite some time before just …

Looking for _fresh_ cold hardy banana seeds
by JohnAndSancho- 0 replies

Yeah buying a plant or pup would be easier, but y'all know my budget and situation by now. I'd prefer something more colorful, but I'm open minded. If someone has some laying around or has a seller they've dealt with previously, that's cool. Cheap is great, but i also don't want to waste time and money. I just got blocked by an eBay seller for asking how old his seeds were, and I didn't know you could do that on eBay but anyway ---

Looking for a source of fresh Attalea Phalerata and/or Acrocomia Aculeata nuts
by DistractedGardener- 1 follower

Hi, I'm new to the community and have a specific need.. I'm trying to find [ideally] a source for fresh Attalea Phalerata and/or Acrocomia Aculeata nuts. Preferrably, on a regular basis [monthly, or quarterly]. They need to be fresh (or slightly unripe), but, more importantly, I would prefer them "on the vine" rather than being "bagged", if at all possible. They are being used for food/treats and need to be of the highest quality. I live in the Austin Texas area, and would even consider larger plants to begin growing my own [cold-frame/hoop house if necessary]. Any leads to, or people who have mature trees, advice, or who would sell th…

Hello all, I’m on the hunt for a Cocos nucifera ‘Merah Wulung’ / ‘Rubescens’ (pink coconut) — preferably a healthy sprouted coconut or established seedling already located within the U.S. I understand this is a rare cultivar, so I’m prepared to offer a fair price or arrange a trade for other desirable tropicals. If you have one available, or know someone who may, please feel free to reply here or message me directly. Thank you for your time, Jesus M.

Search a Jubaea x Butia Hybrid
by SebR- 0 replies
Hello everyone, this forum and the community is my last hope. I have been looking for a Jubaea x Butia hybrid for a very long time. ( young plant or seed) Here in Germany and Europe it is almost impossible to get hold of such plants. There are some suppliers in the USA but due to the strict requirements with health certificate etc. nobody sends to Germany. Patrick Schafer used to ship but unfortunately no longer does. I have already contacted him. Maybe someone here knows an address or a private person who sells. Thank you very much Greetings Sebastian
