Anyone is allowed to list sought after items (start topics) in this forum. Inquiries will be removed 60 days after the original posting unless otherwise requested.

Please remember that only IPS Members can offer palms and plants for sale. And please do not suggest a vendor unless you are certain they are an IPS Member.

The IPS provides this subforum as a courtesy to all those interested in palms. When discussing new acquisitions, deals, or availability of palms/plants, please refrain from mentioning the names of Big Box stores, nurseries, or other outlets that are not IPS Members. Third parties will be permitted to mention the source, price, or availability of plants, seeds, or garden related products in the course of normal Forum discussions if directly acquired from or offered by IPS Members only. Promotional intent or language by third parties should be avoided.

    Looking for a few viable seeds, and yes I know, this tree causes severe blistering of the skin, etc, etc .... They are neither illegal to own, nor prohibited to buy/sell. I live in South Florida and have an established botanical garden of over 350 species and am looking to add this one. I would go forage one for myself, but the only place I know for certain where some are requires a boat to get to. 10,000 islands area of SW Gulf. Thanks in advance if someone has viable seed. They ripen in the Fall, so if you find a apple or two and want to sell the seed, contact me. I found a dude on eBay selling a single seed for $75. A bit steep for me.

    Hi, I'm new to the community and have a specific need.. I'm trying to find [ideally] a source for fresh Attalea Phalerata and/or Acrocomia Aculeata nuts. Preferrably, on a regular basis [monthly, or quarterly]. They need to be fresh (or slightly unripe), but, more importantly, I would prefer them "on the vine" rather than being "bagged", if at all possible. They are being used for food/treats and need to be of the highest quality. I live in the Austin Texas area, and would even consider larger plants to begin growing my own [cold-frame/hoop house if necessary].     Hi everyone, I'm based in Algeria, and I recently came across a few Queen Palm seeds (Syagrus romanzoffiana) that I found fallen on the street from a beautiful local specimen. What’s really interesting is that the Queen Palms here look quite different from the ones I saw back when I was in Florida and California. The ones here seem to have a slightly different growth habit and appearance — maybe due to the climate or soil — but they’re still striking and graceful. I’ve collected a few extra seeds and would love to trade them with anyone who has seeds of Foxtail Palms (Wodyetia bifurcata) or Roystonea (Royal Palms).     Anyone know of a nursery around Orlando/Tampa that has these for sale? Ideally in a 15 gallon or so? My local Lowe's has them but I think all they have is a triple.
