Here’s a shot of the trunk of my most robust Hookeri. It’s been in the ground three and a half years from a large 15 gallon.

Chrysalidocarpus ambositrae just standing out on its own now.

Took my dogs for a walk and thought a bird dropped something on me.  I realized it was large raindrops.  I pulled out my phone to snap a picture of the sky which didn't look like rain.  When I looked at the photo I was impressed with the Foxy Lady popping up over my wall.

Thanks @Brian I think the not so secret ingredient for this one is too much water. 

The spotlight was on this inflorescens emerging on the Burretiokentia hapala this morning.

I thoroughly enjoyed the view of this Chrysalidocarpus cabadae rising up over the tall Hibiscus I have next to my BBQ.  The leaves have a nice arch while also appearing a little delicate and refined.

do you have an overall pic of that beauty? just want to see how relaxed the leaves are when they settle.  thanks

One of my favorite palms, Pritchardia minor, appears to be pushing out three flower spathes. 

Looking nice Matt. I can also see how beautiful the bronze color on the abaxial side of the leaves are looking too.

That looks like S. mauritiiformis to me, fronds look way bigger and leaflets look droopier than yapa.

Interesting observation. I had just cut off huge inflorescences so it looks a little open and droopy as you noticed. I got the seeds 20 years ago from RPS as S. yapa.

I think my Chambroynia is going to flower soon . It has flowered twice in the last few years but pretty wimpy. This time the swelling is much more prominent. On the left side there is a definite crease where the flower may be starting.Another angle .And finally the rest of the palm! The reddish color is the frond being readied for departure. The new spear is close to opening size. Harry

One of my Thrinax radiata looking nice tonight 

I was fortunate enough to get some Brassiophoenix schumannii seeds several years ago and now they are producing seed. These are  second generation plants that are the perfect size for viewing. My other ones are too high up in the canopy to get a decent photo.

They're putting in a new street in front of my house and wanted to remove my Cryosophila nana. We worked it out and nothing got removed but I have some work to do to clean up this area and turn it into a nice planter for more palms

This is a dream palm for me right at the top of my wish list. Based on its habitat, I’d assume it must be the hardiest to climate extremes yet I haven’t seen many at all in cultivation. Yours look perfect Brian well grown! Anyone else growing these?
