PalmTalk needs an hour or two of your time to test something new.
PT is moving - it won’t look any different - but we need a few people to “test drive” it after the move to check that everything is working as it should - before we go live.
So basically, in the coming days (time not yet set) PT will shut down and move to a new server. When the move is complete, we will have a “secret” URL that you can go to and use your present account to browse PT as you would normally.
We just need you to use it normally in order to confirm you can log in and do things as you normally would - checking anything and everything you would do during a regular session - and report any issues back to us.
This would ideally take place on one day, maybe two as we work out any bugs - with the goal being to get fully back on line as soon as possible.
We are looking for a wide range of devices, operating systems, and browsers. So, please reply to me via Private Message on PT (Palm Mod), and let me know what you use to view PT - device(s), OS, and browser.
If we don’t select you, that means we already have someone with your same set up - but thank you in advance either way. We may not have time to personally thank everyone individually- depending on response.
