Good luck with that. Maybe a mild winter for its first year out 🤞. The Roo is fun to see! We have rabbits , road runners , and other fun animals to entertain us . Harry

I hope so a mild winter, being such a large plant it should be fine, it’s the heat they dislike.
The kangaroos just wander around the garden, they become friendly eventually and don’t worry about human activity. I like them they add a bit of a Aussie theme around the garden!

Today the good old phoenix robellenii got my attention, fitting in so well as a landscape plant. They may be common but they have that tropical landscape feel about them!

Some orchids are blooming! Even with an extended , unseasonal heat wave they are doing good so far . They have been outdoors , next to the house for a couple of years now . They only get a couple of hours of early morning sun. HarryIMG_1282.thumb.jpeg.6041aed2e854e85661b9bdc3386be713.jpeg

Iam on my way to sunny Melbourne @tim_brissy_13 to dig that rosea out, it needs a nice subtropical climate, in a nice loving garden with lots of happypalms attention. Not that iam saying you dont give your palms any love, I just can’t bear to see that that poor rosea live in refrigerator, any longer! 🤣

Just admiring my Buddha statue and for all the peace and harmony related to Buddhism, the world needs a bit of piece and quite in the garden now and then!
