Us too i think Washingtonian robustas would be good annuals for cooler climates lol or dug up and stored in the winter like cannas (Not the same thing the canna is a corm the washy is still in need of light and water) But i would like to take a stroll through NY and see washies in ground that are small 4-year-olds or something

Winter update on how they are doing. pretty much how they always look around this time of year. I’m not worried about the cold and ice that’s been blasting through, but I am tired of going outside and covering, uncovering, covering, uncovering. but it is what it is and worth it when it’s spring.

Let me start by saying winter was ROUGH, whatever that was needs to not happen again 😂

Things are pretty good so far, it’s been so dry, I guess we aren’t getting any April showers. :indifferent:

This one looks the most rough because my Christmas lights cooked it a bit but it’s growing out the damage

Argh man you got hit , I feel for you on that one. But I know how you feel iam getting the opposite complete dryness with the drought we are going into with no rain for two months, not any that’s worth getting anyway it’s cruel here now. Just too busy to water doing all the other watering in the garden and greenhouses. Plus having a job. Not enough time to water.
