    On another note, I could not believe the palms in Brevard County yesterday. I drove to Malabar and back. The amount of royals, coconuts, and foxtails was SHOCKING. They appeared more prevalent at times than queens and Washingtonia. Merritt Island practically looked like South Florida landscaping.

    That's probably because Fusarium is also very prevalent in Central and South FL, killing off lots of mature Queens and Washingtonia.  I just had to cut down a just-starting-to-trunk queen a few weeks ago due to sudden Fusarium death.

    haha this reminds me of me some time back. It looks so stupid and it did not exactly make me look any smarter being 6'6 driving on the highway with that small scooter and the palm sticking up like a flag.

    You don't have a problem. Renting a u-haul truck to drive for 90 minutes one way without even knowing what you might get, then filling the truck anyway (thanks to some very helpful PT'ers!!!!). That's a problem.

    You should really consider adding beccariophoenix alfredii, arenga pinnata, and maybe archontophoenix cunninghamiana. Those have a reasonable shot of doing well where you’re at. :)

    Absolutely LOVE that archontophoenix Cunninghamiana! Fast grower?

    Definitely check out the Becarriophoenix genus. A trunking alfredii looks like a coconut on steroids - will knock your socks off.

    Before I get a couple of these....I see on some places where it says they need a shade canopy. Will these be okay in full blast sun?

    I assume so. The one at St Armands is in full sun.

    So once established,  Bizzies should be bulletproof. All the Bizzies in the area 9a survived 20° with freezing rain in 2018. I lost a couple cause they weren't established yet being just planted that summer before.
