Twin embryo Beccariophoenix alfredii thriving

Featured Replies

These 2 Beccariophoenix alfredii are growing at Leu Gardens next to the classroom building in the Idea Garden. These 2 palms were grown from one seed, it developed a twin embryo. As the palms got older the seed decomposed and they were separated. They were planted outside in March 2012. They were about 2ft tall then and growing in 3 gal. pots. They have thrived since then and really resemble Coconut Palms.
