I live on a south-facing slope close to San Diego State University and it seemed like it was more than 2 inches of rain that fell here.

Trioderob, do you live on a south-facing or north-facing slope?

ok-

so that was just under 2" grand total in my area

hopefully there will be more hurricanes coming to San Diego

Hmmm. Be careful what you wish for.

So glad y'all are getting some life-giving rainfall. We in FL gladly share our bountiful heat and sweltering humidity. Just don't let flooding and mudslides wipe out roads & bridges. I guess living in a place that's flat and boring has some advantages.

Hi neighbor, I measured about 2.20 inches in my rain gauge for the two day total. This amount of rain is extremely unusual here this time of year.

I knew it rained like crazy. That's is an incredible amount of rain. Rick across the street recorded 2.00 inches and you're two houses down from him and three houses from me...so I'm guessing it's between 2 and 2.2 inches of rain. The plants sure needed all this rain.

yes -

we may get epic floods this year.

I asked a few folks about this and the response was universal

"I will take a flood over a drought any day "

BRING THE RAIN !
