Next Stop was to Tim's place, the drive from Deans to Tims was around 2hrs give or take. Had a ball driving the Saddle road stretch, one minute your in blue skies the next your driving thru fog, then out of no where you would swear your driving on the surface of the moon, then comes the rain then back to blue skies.

Had the great pleasure of meeting Tim and Bob back in April when they were visiting our part of the world, so it made sense that I should see there's. Tim and Bobs garden was fantastic, always look forward to their threads,so was a real treat to walk their garden, thanks once again guys for having us over.

"Great" shots Paul, Tim your garden is looking "Lush" as always, the growth you get is phenomenel , beautiful specimens in "every" pic, and btw, didnt know you had a Blue Decipiens "and" a Lemur of that size great to see them doing so well, how can they not with your "all year" amazing climate

Hey Paul, great having you if only for a short time. We had a blast hanging out with you and never tire of visiting some of the fantastic gardens on this island. Your enthusiasm and sense of humor are contagious, refreshing I'd say. I've got a few photos of you planting that Orania in my garden that I'll post soon.

Philippe, #400 is H. ledermanianum, 401 was supposed to be H. hombronii, but I don't think it is, more like H. microspadix or something. It's a beautiful palm. #596 is Euterpe precatoria.

Ben, thanks....the pic #3 is Dypsis robusta, #4 is Marojejya darianii. Pic. #5 in post 14 is Balaka macrocarpa. (I think) I know it's a Balaka, stunning little palm.

When we were in Brisbane last month, Daryl had me plant a palm in his garden which I thought was an awesome gesture, so I had Paul plant one in mine.

It's an Orania palindan, the seed coming from Colin Peters in Honolulu. You did a great job Paul and thanks again Colin.
