I crept stealthily out of the Dark Tower and roared home to have enough time to move a large Arenga engleri I'd been fixing to move for months.

Here it is. It's about 6 feet 2 m tall, and note the nice donut ring dug around it. I started the process about four months ago, and kept digging deeper and deeper.

Hopefully, the new roots popping into the rootball will make the plant take the move better.

Here it is, evening one.

I watered it this morning, and this evening, about 15 minutes at a time.

The test will be to see if it can reestablish itself enough to survive the infamous heat.

Under the advice of certain professionals, I began the digging process back in April and waited a long while to let new roots regenerate.

I'll see if this works . . .

Guess I'll wait another few weeks before I start the process, may be early march depending on Mutha Nature. Thanks for sharin the photos. It really needs a warmer spot me thinks, hopefully the new spot will enourage a bit more growth on it.

Bangor, Norin Iron Zone 9a Min temp normally around -3 Degrees C, rarely -6C. Only 2 x -2.0C so far, verging on 9b this year. No snow or Frost this Winter. Several just subzero's this year, lets hope it stays this way. Normally around 5C to 10C + in winter, with lots of wind & rain. Summers usually better, 20C to 25 C occasionally 25C to 28C, also quite humid being a coastal town
