A fairly recent shot of part of my front yard. Anyone wanna try to guess some of the species?

Here is a picture of a Talipot from the Singapore National Botanic Garden. I made this image last year while in that fabulous place. As a matter fact- this is an Iphone image- I had taken some pictures with my fancy Nikon P7100, but none were as nice as this one. Enjoy.

Rhopaloblaste sp. (Think this is augusta, if not please let us know.) Wallichia densiflora The little dark green and white plant sneaking up from under the Wallichia is Mickey Mouse taro. As mice go they are very cute but they keep reproducing so they have to be 'trapped' and relocated on a regular basis. Pistol, the orange cat on the left side of the picture supervises the trapping. I think the class envy card is a big loser. Keep pushing that line and I'm sure people making minimum wage will be seeing $20/hr as wealthy. It is obvious to me that is little or no financial reward to being on the BOD, it is obviously a sacrifice in time (and time is money). There are enough complications here recently, adding a class warfare element is not going to be productive.

this is one of the best moderated sites on the internet. People can disagree and still be civil and respectful. I don't believe that would be the case without a great job by the moderators. I know that it goes mostly unrecognized. Thanks Dean, and all others who moderate here!
