  2. Hello, I have a very large Sabal on a 30 inch box that I was hoping to plant in about two weeks. Is it too late in the season to do so? I was thinking of removing the steel straps that hold the box together and burying the box to let it gradually acclimate to the soil.

  3. This palm & croton collection belongs to Judy & Jim at their Florida Keys home. The colors of their crotons are mind blowing under the shade of Copernicia, Pseudophoenix, Coccothrinax & other magnificently grown palms. Enjoy

  6. Matty - Doesn't look like we have too many bored folks out there. I'll give it a bump with one more set and see if anyone else jumps on. - gmp @ Dypsis prestoniana

  7. I will be the first to say that I have taken the IPS for granted. I am at a point in my life where the IPS and even Palmtalk is not very high on the priority list. But, it is still an important part of me. This past week reminded me that I need to stay involved with the things I care about and not just skate by and let others take the reigns. I hope to be a contributing member of the IPS.

  13. Jim & Judy are both IPS members & biennial attendees. Their crotons, along with Jerry's in Amazing Collection #1, are the finest examples of these plants I've ever seen. I've seen some incredible croton collections in South Florida, but you can't beat the extra heat & humidity the Florida Keys offers.

  14. Triangles look sweet Matt. Here's one of my bizzys that almost died from transplanting. You can still see the stunted leaves at the bottom.

  15. It has been getting consistently watered for about two months and seems to look exactly the same as when I got it. It had been pulled from a 24 inch box that had partially rooted into the ground and placed into a 30 inch box.
