Hello, I have a very large Sabal on a 30 inch box that I was hoping to plant in about two weeks. Is it too late in the season to do so? I was thinking of removing the steel straps that hold the box together and burying the box to let it gradually acclimate to the soil.1 point

I will be the first to say that I have taken the IPS for granted. I am at a point in my life where the IPS and even Palmtalk is not very high on the priority list. But, it is still an important part of me. This past week reminded me that I need to stay involved with the things I care about and not just skate by and let others take the reigns. I hope to be a contributing member of the IPS.1 point

Kim and everyone who posted pictures here - 1000 Thank You's. This is my very favorite picture post. The pictures really reveal and highlight the amazing world of green and the idea for the post was great! I will be back here again and again. Lee1 point

Jim & Judy are both IPS members & biennial attendees. Their crotons, along with Jerry's in Amazing Collection #1, are the finest examples of these plants I've ever seen. I've seen some incredible croton collections in South Florida, but you can't beat the extra heat & humidity the Florida Keys offers.1 point
