Yes indeed, I am honored. Helena and I also share our birthday with numerous politicians from many countries, lots of American drummers, English, Australian, Irish and Paraguayan footballers, American baseball and basketball players galore, a German woman believed to have been possessed by demons, various race car drivers from around the world, and an American reality show contestant -- winner of Survivor: Micronesia; all utterly unknown to me. Then there's H.G. Wells, now there's a name I recognize. Also Faith Hill, Ricki Lake, Nicole Richie and Luke Wilson. At least he's funny. There's even a Canadian centenarian and a French poker player. Astonishing, truly.

Ptychopserma burretianum Satakentia luikensis (another new planting with first leaf since being planted) Dypsis pinnatifrons (apparently a hybrid..... I assume with D. sambiranensis?) Dypsis "dark mealy bug"... awesome palm but slow, 1 leaf per year and now on its 3rd since planting.... each leaf much larger than the last. This leaf just starting to open.... ye haaaaa!

Meg, I don't think it is right to hold over people's head the fact some have not donated. Its in bad taste in my opinion. FYI, I donated weeks ago. I just didnt run to Dean to tell him about my donation and my requirment for some badge of feel goodness I guess. Should we call out how much peple have donated next?
