Pete, I understand what you are trying to say here, and I was only referring to 'Jurassic Pk ' as such because that was what the palms were purchased as.
Perhaps once you are back to health, I could come over for a visit and see your tokoravina first hand?
regards,
Daryl
Daryl, it wasnt that long ago that Hawaii was full of monster"jurassic parks'....until the first started to flower at Floribunda...after that jurassic pk became "Tokoravina'..... keen enthusiatic palm growers over the world learned and took note...the "Many famous palm growers in Hawaii" have been leaders and gladly share their great learned knowledge ...Tokoravina in the shade have "Immense long petioles'....Tokoravina in near full sun have "very short petioles" ....Also Tokoravina in a very high rainfall area like Hawaii will be twice the size of Tokoravinas grown in drier areas of the world..Be great to see a few pics of Leo Gambles when you get a chance...Also notice that the word jurassic pk is now never mentioned on Palmpedia, Floribunda or Bos Lundkvistpalmgardens site....Pete
