Ooookay Does a rupi mutt count? #1 rupi mutt true rupicola #2 (in the middle behind the foxtail trunk) true rupicola #3 (smallest rupicola in the back yard with Crash doing his "Dave" impression...) and finally, a picture of the rupi mutt taken over a year ago with sun overhead.... It's possible this is not a mutt. You be the judge. Sorry for the harsh contrast on the first three. I took them at sunset when I saw Dave's request (not the best time to photograph the yard) Jackie

Randy fantastic garden selection, every one of them are a feast for my eyes, thanks for showing us some primo garden in SoCali. If only I lived in Cali too. I hate to think what some of the water bill are like in summer thou. Also what is the large leaf butia hybrid I saw on Justin website?

Nice coverage, Randy! This is interesting because although each garden includes palms as a central interest, they are all wildly different. Looking forward to the rest of the trip pix.

Darold, I bought it as Dypsis Onilahensis but your guess is better than mine. I planted it as a 1 gal. and it now has 8 trunks and grows very fast! Stevo

You are close to the big milestone! I'm at about 295,170 miles. As soon as I hit the 300,000 the car is off to the junker. Maybe I should do a PRA Florida style and speed it up.
