I have several Livistona seedlings from seed collected in Rockhampton, and I know they're neither nitida, decipiens, mariae or muelleri. Out of those, the smallest seed is L. muelleri. The seeds on these seedlings were a fraction smaller, but more significantly, they were completely spherical. No oval-ness whatsoever. Notice the very narrow strap leaves too. Less than 10mm wide. Any ideas? Colin thought Daryl might know. That's Colin holding the seedling in my garden. He'll be appearing in a garden near you shortly!
And finally (couldn't resist), here's Colin working his very own "palmy NASDAQ" in my greenhouse! Actually, he's on the phone to Carlo in Tenerife, and helping both of us by ordering palms to donate to the Palmetum. What a great guy. I miss him already!
