    A friend of mine told me this beautiful clump of Rhapis excelsa is going to be removed by her HOA if someone else does not remove it first. I have seen it. I am planning on taking my shovel, a Sawzall, pruner, and some burlap sacks a week from Saturday and see what dent I can put in this thing to take back to the I.E. If anyone else has any interest in the rest of it and can remove it by hand the same day I'm there, I think they will appreciate it. Message me privately for South Orange County, CA location.     We have an established Date Palm tree that we inherited when we purchase our home. Unfortunately, the prior owner's placement didn't take into consideration decades of growth and we are needing to remove it. Rather than have it cut down, we are hoping someone might be able to repurpose. It's a beautiful tree, but just needs a better home. Free for the taking. Must dig out on your own.
