   Tell me how many you want and pay postage. I don't want to count, so let's go from "handful," "a little bit," or a pile. I've still got some Minor too, all of these were collected locally from short and stumpy Palmettos. They've seen temps anywhere from 9° to triple digits, snow, ice, drought, monsoons, pretty much everything except fire and earthquakes.

   I have some extra germinated Livistona chinensis seeds to give away. At least three seeds showing germination through the baggie (more seeds may yet germinate).    Elderly lady in south Cape Coral neighborhood would like her specimen Pachypodium removed. It is around 15' high, multi-trunked, just starting to leaf out for spring. It's free but you are on your own for removal.

   A friend has grown his Pachypodium for 13 years and this is the first time it has produced seed pods. Knowing I am in touch with lots of plant enthusiasts, he wanted me to offer the seeds for free to any takers. Easiest to provide to US residents who will pay shipping. There are possibly 200 - 300 seeds. I have never grown the plant and know nothing about germination. The grower thought it was a palm, but now he knows better. Any takers?

    Free Mango Seeds - Alphonso

    Mango season has started in full swing and occasionally I buy some of these outrageously priced Alphonso mangos - of which a great deal of hype is made each year. These (the mangos and the hype) are mostly exported but in case you have heard about this variety but don't have or can't get any seed, let me know. I have dried a half-dozen seeds and can give these away. As always, not recommended for fruit production. Just in case however, the fruit is yellow and almost fibre-free and the tree is much smaller than our Bengal varieties - tends to branch a lot more too.

    I have decided I no longer want this king palm planted where it is. It's been in the ground for 2 years from a 15 gallon. I know these have touchy roots but I wanted to offer it for free if anyone wanted to take a chance and dig it up. If so, it's yours. If not, then I'll be cutting it down this weekend. Here's a picture: I would say that it is 12 - 13 feet tall.

    Location: Redland Bay, QLD. You pick up. Free, without pot. It wants to go in the ground. I have a Caryota ochlandra to give away. It was purchased 4 or 5 months ago in a 200mm nursery pot, but is currently in a larger pot which I would like to keep, so you would need to remove it from the pot and have some way to protect the root ball while transporting it (wrap with tarpaulin, etc). I could provide a 300mm nursery pot to use for transport, unless the root system has grown much. It has been idle over winter, so the roots may not have grown too much.
