Anyone is allowed to list sought after items (start topics) in this forum. Inquiries will be removed 60 days after the original posting unless otherwise requested.
Please remember that only IPS Members can offer palms and plants for sale. And please do not suggest a vendor unless you are certain they are an IPS Member.
The IPS provides this subforum as a courtesy to all those interested in palms. When discussing new acquisitions, deals, or availability of palms/plants, please refrain from mentioning the names of Big Box stores, nurseries, or other outlets that are not IPS Members. Third parties will be permitted to mention the source, price, or availability of plants, seeds, or garden related products in the course of normal Forum discussions if directly acquired from or offered by IPS Members only. Promotional intent or language by third parties should be avoided.

I just need one to replace one that I gave to a neighbor , which is not going to survive . Seems to be impossible to find any in my area . All " nursery's " and retailers , if they have any Chinese fan palms at all , have only the 3 or more in a pot ones. I do not want one of those , even to split them out . Same thing goes for Roebellini's . Will buy if reasonable , but I can trade 1-2 Thrinax Radiata in 6" pots for a 3 gallon or so Chinese . For many years I would rescue 2-3 seedlings per year from my China's , raise them up and generally give them away to friends , but now that I need one , hard to find .

I am looking to plant some Caryota mitis variegata in south Florida. Anyone know of a good nursery that might carry them? I am also curious about the variegated form of Plumeria, I have seen them referenced as "maya" but there are many different names that may or may not be the same. I wonder if there may be online sources or rooted cuttings that doesn't break the bank. If there are local sources even better.
