I just need one to replace one that I gave to a neighbor , which is not going to survive .

Seems to be impossible to find any in my area .    All " nursery's " and retailers , if they have any Chinese fan palms at all , have only the 3 or more in a pot ones.

I do not want one of those , even to split them out .

Same thing goes for Roebellini's .     Will buy if reasonable , but I can trade 1-2  Thrinax Radiata in 6" pots for a 3 gallon or so Chinese .

For many years I would rescue 2-3 seedlings per year from my China's , raise them up and generally give them away to friends , but now that I need one , hard to find .

If you are in driving through the Mt. Dora/Sorrento/Plymouth area you could stop at Green's Nursery.  The last time I was there they had a whole bunch of 1g to 3g single Chinensis for something like $5 or $10 each.  Or if you are driving through the Sanford area I have a small "Livistona hybrid" that I bought at the last CFPACS meeting for $5.  I put it in a 3g pot a while back but don't have a spot in mind for it.  But I have no idea if it's a Chinensis, Decora, etc.
