Anyone is allowed to list sought after items (start topics) in this forum. Inquiries will be removed 60 days after the original posting unless otherwise requested.
Please remember that only IPS Members can offer palms and plants for sale. And please do not suggest a vendor unless you are certain they are an IPS Member.
The IPS provides this subforum as a courtesy to all those interested in palms. When discussing new acquisitions, deals, or availability of palms/plants, please refrain from mentioning the names of Big Box stores, nurseries, or other outlets that are not IPS Members. Third parties will be permitted to mention the source, price, or availability of plants, seeds, or garden related products in the course of normal Forum discussions if directly acquired from or offered by IPS Members only. Promotional intent or language by third parties should be avoided.

I've searched for this palm quite often with no luck. Sabal minor is available from multiple sources but it's scrubby cousin, not so much. Even native plant nurseries do not carry this plant. If you have a shippable size or something local in Florida, please let me know in a PM. Thanks in advance.

I don't know why, but I've been fascinated with bananas for a minute now. Maybe it's the growth rate. Maybe it's something different. Anyway, I'd like to get my hands on some pups to fatten up for next year. Maybe they'll encourage my seeds to sprout. Maybe I want to rebrand as the John and Sancho East Mississippi Palm and Banana Conservatorium. Maybe I just want some fast shade outside of these windows.

I am in the southern Orlando area and have been searching for 15-30 gallon Kentiopsis oliviformis. I call nurseries around here and nobody knows what I’m talking about. Most say they’ve never heard of it. It’s strange to me that a beautiful palm that is relatively cold hardy is not more popular around these parts. I’m willing to travel to find one, any recommendations of nurseries known to carry them within a few hours of central Florida?

I'd like to get my hands on a handful (no more than 20) silver saw palmetto seeds, or even the green variety. Which high prominence user will the spam bots pretend to be when they dm me this time? Anyway cheap is good or I can trade Bermudana or a variety of sprouted seeds. I have an abundance of Mexicana and Louisiana and a few Trachy hybrid seeds and sprouts. I just don't need a mountain of them and I don't want to pay $2 a seed and it seems like those are my choices on eBay.

Hey y'all I'm kinda desperately (haha), searching for seeds of either of these species of Royals. It's almost impossible it seems to find anyone selling either, Purple Royal Palm especially. Seeds seedlings anything tbh. I have checked all the usual suspects for seeds RPS in particular, and I've scoured online in just in general for upwards of a week now. Yeah buying a plant or pup would be easier, but y'all know my budget and situation by now. I'd prefer something more colorful, but I'm open minded. Hi, I'm new to the community and have a specific need.. I'm trying to find [ideally] a source for fresh Attalea Phalerata and/or Acrocomia Aculeata nuts. Preferrably, on a regular basis [monthly, or quarterly]. They need to be fresh (or slightly unripe), but, more importantly, I would prefer them "on the vine" rather than being "bagged", if at all possible. They are being used for food/treats and need to be of the highest quality.
