What a week! 117 F high. 97F morning low. 70 mph winds... Copernicia macroglossa that was previously tied up is now showing it's true potential in the Arizona desert. Nice medium speed grower for the tropics or warm desert if you have the room. Tough palm that withstands the extremes and still looks good. 🌴

    20 years. Sounds like a long time, but as a medium speed grower, it's 4 times as tall as some of my Coccothrinax or Hemithrinax species of the same age.
