That’s a tremendous lean. Did this happen gradually or rapidly? I’m suspicious about all those ferns on the trunk. They could be holding water and masking rot. If so, then it is likely too late to save it. Can you move the top section by hand? If the trunk is spongy and rotten, it could possibly snap off so don’t stand under it.

I will say a bit of a lean, possibly wind has pushed it over, but I don’t see any signs of it curving back up after time. As johhypalmseed has asked how long has it been leaning for.

    I dont like the way the trunk is suddenly bent in one spot that much. I would get those ferns off the tree and check under it for trunk rot(softness). Might be its fine, but the ferns on there could be damaging the outside layer of fiber which is responsible for deterrence of pathogens. I just pulled off some mimosa seedlings from my kentiopsis and the roots were starting to invade the outer layer of trunk. If you treat first with a soaking or two of white vinegar and wait a few days the ferns might come off easier.
