I got this date palm a few months ago, but I'm confused about its exact name.

I am not sure about anything with tied up fronds and lower stem partly  submerged. It bears some traits, that do not comply with typical dactylifera such as the perpendicularly spreading acanthophylls and the very short pseudopetiole. However dactylifera is a very common sp and therefore the most probable possibility.
