Butia eriospatha seedling

Hi I ordered a Butia eriospatha seedling a few weeks ago. I received the plant with two leaves but the second one looked a bit sad straight away. That leaf has now dried up completely but the larger first leaf looks healthy.

The dry leaf isn't pulling out.

Is there a chance this plant might grow more leaves and survive?

It should grow new fronds but it takes a while at that stage . Do not over water , allow the top portion to dry a bit between watering. These are fairly tough , they want bright light but not open , direct sun yet. It is going to take time . The brown frond can be cut off.Harry

Thank you Harry, I was hoping for this answer! I'll be keeping my fingers crossed and the top of the soil dry until then. Thanks again! Moxi
