Majesty Palm Full Sun Growth/Long-term care

Proud to say I've been able to keep a majesty palm alive and well for two summers here in VA zone 7. It received partial shade from the midday sun under a large maple tree for most of that time but has seemed to handle its own well under full mid-day sun in the 80s/90s without visible damage. The leaves are slightly yellow though I've heard that can happen to palms under high light conditions. Has anyone here kept a potted majesty palm under full sun conditions long term? I'm hoping for it to develop a fat base and compact growth. Open to any winter care advice it did well under a grow light and over a heat mat occasionally soaking/wiping the foliage to prevent dust and spider mites. It's responded well to Espoma Palm tone fertilizer. I love this plant and I hope to have it with me for years to come and develop a little trunk someday.

One of mine is. Couple years old now. In a pot. I don’t winter but much warmer than you. I would take a dolly like I do for a few others and move in the garage. Kind of a throw away palm for me.
