I mean, I guess it's safe to assume they're the mutts, but just so I'll know for sure - Robusta or Filibusta? I doubt they're Filifera. All I know is they were volunteers growing in pure clay in another pot in the RGV from @Fusca

First is a mix as the leaf is stiff. Others look like limp robustas.

Absolutely not filifera and yes, most likely filibusta hybrids.  Possibly robusta also.  Filifera have grey-green fronds and zero red on their leaf bases while robusta/filibusta have glossy green fronds and red color.  I'll take a photo tomorrow of the two species side by side so you can see the difference.

This is all the same palm, there's a smaller one that came with it and I've got a pure Filifera that looks pretty rough right now.

Ok, coolsies. I'll go back to my old ways and start naming my palms again so this one can be Filibusta Rhymes. So far this one looks like it's gonna be a unit. The others look like they'll be ok.

If all those photos are of the same palm, the issue is moot. Washingtonia has only one species per scientific review within the past five years. So they're/it all mutts

@JohnAndSancho here's the color difference I was talking about.  Tall robusta on right with glossy leaves and shorter filifera on the left with grey-green leaves.
