A big palm nursery in florida has a 100 gallon baileyana for sale.  Bigger older palms are not cheap.   I bought a 5 gallon bailey from a palm talker for $40 in 2012.  My palm is twice as tall as this one after 13 years in the ground.   The cost of big palms has always been a lot more and you will need a bobcat to plant this one too, its going to be very heavy and has roots that are sensitive to damage.

Lets see who can guess the closest price.  If interested posters can post a palm from your area and quiz the rest of us.   Here is the 100 gallon bailey:

I am not sure that is a pure Baileyana. That being said, value $500 to $600. Price, $2500.

DonPaccino is correct, $8500 you come get it and plant it.  The nursery is very near miami.  I was a little surprised but its also bigger now than the photo taken 2022.  Copernicias and palms in general have gone up in price at all levels.  A 25 gallon fallaensis is $750.  Of course 12 years ago cars and homes were almost half the price of what they cost today.  It looks like a bailey to me, but it is not a super happy bailey as you would see were it in the ground but for a container its not too bad.

Yes, that is way out of my budget. I think the best time to buy copernicia is at palm sales . I got a 3gal bailey for 50 bucks . Just got to wait to see if it's a pure one . Time will tell🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Basically you wanna get as close as you can without going over. Bob Barker would always flirt with all the women and kiss them and remind us to spay or neuter our pets.

Then he punched Happy Gilmore.

That’s a fair price if you look at how long it took to grow and the cost of growing it along with the transportation and logistics involved in getting such a plant out of the ground transplanting it with with machinery costs,  and what should be a fair price for doing such a logistical task.
