Yep, saw the reports on that event yesterday...  Had ours on Saturday.  Possibly the worst " Cool season " dust event i can remember seeing since moving here.  Caused two major multi- vehicle accidents on I -10 west of Phoenix as well.

As dry is it will likely stay until...,  summer ahead should be fun..  Fingers crossed for a 2011 - level ( or worse )  Haboob before the rains arrive. 



You already know i'll be chasing it.. :greenthumb:

I dont miss those, or the cleanup! Spring windy season was the worst.

I was driving to NM, househunting and within seconds, I couldn't see the end of the hood of the car. I pulled off of the 8 freeway; sadly, 6 people died in a chain reaction. I have neve been so scared in my life.  Dreadful whiteout conditions.
