I have a Pindo that has developed blackening on its lower fronds. The palm is producing a lot of new growth that looks healthy and then later black spots appear on those as well. I’m not sure if it is a fungus or nutrient deficiency.

It almost looks like a mold but in your climate I wouldn’t think you would have that issue. Otherwise , a good looking Butia . Harry
