I use 41 cm deep tree pots for my Sabals, they have a long tap root.  They can stay in this for a long time.

Phew, that much more than I expected, thanks for the recommendation. For now I potted up the seedlings individually in the 18cm pots that I have, we'll see how long it would last.

Short update, getermination rate is 18/20, I'm impressed! Three of these are developing their second strap leaf.

After 10 months the fastest seedlings are starting to form their 4th leaf.

@MSXI also ordered and received some new seeds of RPS this week. They are indeed very small compared to my previous order.

The seeds are the same as s.minor in size. FYI this last batch has a bad germination rate, only 1 out of 11 seeds germinated actually, so different to the previous batch (100% rate), which is very unusual for the sabals in general. Here is the only one 5 months old seedling from this batch

It's been oh, at least 15 years since I ordered some RPS seeds. I should check out their website.

Well I just tried RPS. There's minimum dollar amount required that exceeds my willingness to comply.  Oh well.

Definitely received seeds for Sabal mexicana aka Sabal texana.  I have both it and Brazoria and can confirm Brazoria is intermediate size between Sabal minor and Sabal mexicana

Seed size should be in between minor and palmetto.  https://youtu.be/lw3j1Nnb-OQ?si=9imf9GXqabzzlq8P
