Also I bought some Sabal seeds how long does it take them to sprout?

Much depends on how fresh the seeds are, and the conditions under which they're given.

Great video , I love taking botanical tours . This would’ve been extra special , focusing on the cold hardy palms. I am in an area in Southern California where my one Palmetto has done very well. It was a birthday gift from a fellow collector in 1998 or so , just a seedling. I dug a hole down on the hill and it looked like it was too small to survive down on the hill where watering is a challenge. It survived gopher attacks , wind , hot , dry summers , and drought . A real trooper!
