I asked this in another thread a couple weeks back (attempted a hijack so call the air Marshalls!)

anyone know a reliable place to buy the dwarf majesty by mail in the US? Willing to pay…

Floribunda Palms often has nice sized 1 G available. They are not currently listed but Jeff Marcus may have a few stragglers still available.

Is there a way to contact him directly?

I got 4x little 4-inchers from Floribunda a couple years ago.  They seem care free and happy in Florida, though they need shade/sun protection.   They did well in pots for 2 years.   I put the two runts of the litter in the ground this year in a protected spot.  Neat little palms, though they eventually reach a decent size.

what does Floribunda usually charge for shipping (approximately)?

Probably order a few different babies if I am going  to pay for that haul from Hawaii.

Jeff doesn't charge a flat rate, he calculates the shipping, (to the penny), after the order is boxed up.  So you will pay the plant cost up front and then the shipping cost later.

The shipping has alway been reasonable, and Jeff's plants and packaging are the industry standard.  Order away !   :greenthumb:

In the past, I’d guess my shipping for a big box of palms was around $100, but like Darold said, it goes by size/weight.  You can run their list, and read a little, and decide on various palms that have a chance at your place and conditions, but are hard to find locally.  I always get multiple of the palms I’m going for, as little palms have a higher mortality rate, and there can be runts and weaklings as time goes on.
