Mediterranean fan palm issue

We just got back in town after a week and I’m not sure what’s wrong with my mediterranean fan palm.  The frawns seem to be turning dark green/brown.  They were planted about a year and a half ago.  We are in zone 8.  There were a couple of days the weather dropped to 15 degrees but not a tone of frost.  Any help is appreciated.

Looks like cold damage to me. Others may have things to say, but 15 is getting into the lower ranges. I have a little palm guide and it says they begin to take damage at 18, with an absolute low of 5 degrees.

You are seeing cold / freeze damage on the fronds.    Nothing you can do for it but wait it out Ans pay attention to the central spear.   If you are seeing healthy new growth from the center of each trunk then it’s alive and will recover.

Yep, the fronds have cold damage.  As @DCA_Palm_Fanmentioned, check the center spear for new growth as it warms up.  I'd mark the spear horizontally with a black Sharpie, just so you can easily see if it's growing or stationary.  After cold damage it's common to get fungal infections in the crown, a quick and easy diagnosis and treatment is to just squirt a little household hydrogen peroxide into the crown.  Hydrogen peroxide attacks fungus and will bubble up and fizz if you've got an infection.  It's a common cure recommended around here for fungus.

The Weather Channel's website says Charlotte hit 7° on the morning of 12/23, then two mornings in the mid-teens. I don't know if you're in downtown or in the 'burbs, but I recommend a fungicide for the spears.
