It's been a bit since I've been on the site..but here are the updates...the Canary is just rolling along blooming a second time .

Well there is the big Silverton one, now beyond protection due to size.  And there are a few at the corner of McKay and French Prairie at Siri and Sons Farms off of the Ehlen Rd exit off I5.

I have 6 growing out as well, might plant one next spring.

Does pleasant hill get less rain than the Portland? Is it also milder?

The mule really does look like a coconut. did you prune back those fronds so it was easier to wrap. It would look more stunning if the canopy was fuller, I think. but I am no expert yet.
