    I just got back from my holidays and was pleasantly surprised to find quite a few seeds had germinated while I was away! I’m guessing the summer heat we’ve had over the past couple of weeks gave them the final push they needed.

    Among the surprises were Howea Belmoreana, Jubaea × Butia F2, Trachycarpus Princeps × Ukhrulensis, and a few others.

    During my holiday I also came acros Jubaea × Syagrus. Such an impressive hybrid!

    Got a photo of the C elatior stem Richard? Very young to have fully pinnate fronds like that. Might be C tacanensis.

    Will look into it for you, the seed was supplied by our dear friend @palmtreesforpleasure so he has the actual answer to what the true variety is in question!
