It it Chamaedorea adscendens?  How tall is it?  
 

I have two Chamaedorea adscendens that are in a pot that are 18 or 19 years old and are only about 2 ft (61 cm) tall. It’s a very tough palm, but very slow here (my experience).

Yes it is a chamaedorea adscendens, it’s about 3ft tall, I have one that is 5ft. Both are 26 years old. Do you want any seeds ?

The first thing that caught my eye today is the fact that despite me having been unable to work in the yard for months, plants are growing but some sure need mowing.  
 

I see my volunteer palms that hitched a ride from Floribunda are keeping pace with my remaining stilt palms - I had one cycad pot that had two volunteer palm seeds in it and another with one.

Wow!   5 ft and 3 ft tall are impressive.  I’ve read it can grow to 7 ft tall, but I’ve only seen one 3 ft tall in person. 
 

I’d love seeds!  Can the seeds be sent to the U.S.?

I do have some in containers and in the ground that are rather tall. PM gor seeds.

Phoenix market home depots have imported some rarely seen (here) tropical palms for the houseplant/patio department. If you've ever been in search of some spindle palms or Chinese fountain palms at a reasonable price, opportunity might be  knocking... 😄

I saw a few chunky ones in my area that were tempting, but still passed as I already have a spindle. 🤷‍♂️

I don’t understand putting so many Livistona Chinensis in one pot. The trunks , eventually , get pretty big . Some retailers sell palms in community pots that should have been separated at the seedling stage. Both those would be better grown as singles. Harry

Yep. The growers are not worried about the long term health of the palms. They just want to sell an eye catching pot full of palms for people to put in a dark corner of their living space, and replace 6 months later when they no longer look fresh. It's a market. When I lived in Minnesota, the cool thing to do was to buy a 15 or 25 gallon queen palm and plant it as an annual in your front yard. No chance of survival past October, but definitely an attention getter and conversation starter all summer...🤷‍♂️
