Bigfish
I think that most of the members and visitors to this website are familiar with Sabal palmetto ‘Lisa’, but in case you aren’t, check out Palmpedia’s excellent page on it: https://www.palmpedia.net/wiki/Sabal_sp._'Lisa' S. palmetto ‘Lisa’ palms have fused leaflets and very stiff leaves. Progeny of Sabal palmetto ‘Lisa’ supposedly have a 67% chance of coming true to the parent’s form, but results can vary widely. I have seeds available from an excellent specimen (pictured). I collected these seeds personally late last November. Seeds are $16/50, $25/100. Shipping in the continental USA is $3. International shipping is $20, since I have to send it as a package instead of an envelope. Also, please be knowledgeable of any restrictions in your country. No shipping to Russia or China. DM for PayPal address and to order. 3

SouthFLA
67% seems optimistic. Assume all pollen will be from standard Sabal palmetto unless you have multiple mature Lisa's in close proximity. Your chances are 50% at best the seeds will come true to the mother.

Maybe so, but that number comes from the man that discovered the palm in 1998 and introduced it into cultivation. PalmatierMeg
I got nearly 70% germinate true from seeds I collected in 2008 from a wild Lisa. A couple years later I got 40% from the same palm so I think germination outcomes can vary. Some palm experts claim 20% but I think that’s low. 5 Quote Meg Palms of Victory I shall wear Cape Coral (It's Just Paradise) Florida Zone 10A on the Isabelle Canal Elevation: 15 feetI'd like to be under the sea in an octopus' garden in the shade. Bigfish
I have fresh seeds again, just harvested in late November 2022. Prices are the same for fresh seeds, as follows: $16/50, $25/100, $100/500, $160/1,000. Shipping will still be $3, regardless of the order size.
