Anyone using this brand?20220417_162411.thumb.jpg.71231004ee358779975cf0c4b42f70bb.jpg My dad bought this bag, while in Florida. Palm fertilizer is a rare thing here in Canada.

I use it occasionally. I can't use it on most of my indoor plants because my dog thinks it's delicious.

Tbf this stuff does smell like some of his treats. I panicked and googled like crazy when I caught him eating it out of a pot. It's basically made of manure so while it's disgusting, it's safe.

He was probably attracted to the bone meal.

The hen however, probably had pica.

I've had to stop him from eating turds so many times on walks.... "Sancho, don't eat that. It's not food. It used to be food but it isn't now."

Some dogs do this regularly, I don't know if its nutrition, psychological or what.

But then they want to lick your face.

It does appear that I'm getting off topic.

Jobes organics are good for sure. Should have their “biozome” mixture of live fungal cultures in it. :greenthumb:

Yep I’ve been using it for a couple years I like it for the potted plants. You need quite a bit for in the ground palms .

Ive used Jobes on my potted younger palms, its gentle and they seem very happy. Stinky but doesnt bother me, animals do like it theyll dig in pots if allowed to! In ground trees im deciding between either Perfect Palm or Palm Gain, along with Southern AG chelated nutrient spray (foliar spray).

I use this stuff from my local  Site One ( The company  was once called Lesco , then  John  Deere Lanscapes , and now Site One It's professional stuff )  . I get it shipped to my local Site One from Wilmington , NC  at no extra cost  . This says turf fertilizer but they have a palm fertilizer with low nitrogen and micronutrients . Site One has branches around the country .
