What’s going on with my Cocothrinax

Hey! What’s going on with my Cocothrinax miraguama? The first photo is from March 8th, the second photo is from today. The yellow has been continuously growing. It doesn’t look like a sun burn, or a cold burn. My guess is maybe it’s from the fertilizer, I did fertilize March 1st. The yellow is only present on the newest leaf. Any ideas?

Are you fertilizing too much?

Maybe? I’ve never measured while fertilizing, I just go throughout the yard putting fertilizer everywhere lightly.

Not sure what causes it but I have the same yellow patches on a Pseudophoenix. Mine might just be from the changing angle of the sun though. Nothing to worry about...

The yellow does look very similar to yours! Glad I shouldn’t worry too much about it.
