Just for fun, everyone post up their favorite photos they've ever taken! I'm aware there could be more than one, so that's perfectly fine, keep them coming!

Today this picture came to my mind =)

photography is FAR from my expertise, but I really like these shots I've taken - though they're out of focus hahaha. These are Encyclia cordigera growing high up in the trees on our farm in El Salvador. Cocos nucifera in the background.

And I really love the colors and textures in this shot from my garden in Fresno.

Out of focus?  Those shots look pretty clear for taking them from a distance Josue..   Know what you're saying though..

Photography has never been my strong suit but I’ve always thought these two shots were pretty cool because of the placement/contrast

Not trying to steal your pics or anything but that second sabal photo spoke to me, haha. It is an awesome shot. The crown with canopy wrapping around it just screamed lens blur, anyways here's a quick edit I did on it

That’s a sick edit, thanks! I actually took that picture in a Savannah GA graveyard so the whole place had a pretty neat atmosphere

I may make your edit my pfp, so thanks again haha

Hedyscepe,  the sunset image is Howea and the third is an old image of Geonoma undata.    (It has lost this vibrant level of color as it ages.)

My oldest Cuban Royal palms... ( planted in 1987 ) the significant thing here is the size of the Devil's Ivy vine  ( Epipremnum aureum ), Those leaves are more than 2' long !

So these coupla palms were 2' tall when I bought my house in 1987 and were the only palms in the yard.
A  'Cotton Palm' in AU...its a Washingtonia of some description and a Coconut that is now at least 40'-50' tall

I don't care what any of y'all might have to say about it but Florida has the best sunsets and sunrises. Period. Sometimes I capture them and sometimes they just go in the memory bank.

Some palms, no edits.

The sun goes down at Flamingo near the southern tip of mainland Florida in Everglades National Park:

lIINDpc.jpg

The start of a day of small summer trade swell surf at Fort Pierce Inlet:

OUYtBT6.jpg

I briefly stopped at Publix supermarket on my way home from the beach. This is what I found in the parking lot as I walked out the door:

w7FAB2R.jpg

Not a sunset and not my best but after palm trees and beaches Florida photos are incomplete without a large lizard. South Florida is the only place in the world where both crocodiles and alligators live. Gators are very common, crocs not so much. Photo is a bit grainy from the zoom but I wasn't gonna get any closer as crocs can be quite aggressive.  This is Croczilla the second largest crocodile in Everglades National Park near the end of a day of sunning himself on the bank. He slid into the water just moments later:

I thought I would find something that incorporates a couple of passions, so needed palms in the photo too.  Mexican Fan palms in Oceanside, California, Hurricane Eugene (Canon 7D 50mm lens, Del Mar Housing).
